About The Lookout Bar & Grill
Located at 2800 Harbor Blvd B, Oxnard, CA 93035, The Lookout Bar & Grill operates as a bar serving Oxnard in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ11 pm. Oxnard is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Oxnard is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Service was great. We came in with a 12 person party when the kitchen was near closing (sorry, we didnt realize this) and we were hungry from swimming at the beach. Both the service and kitchen accommodated us and the chowder was great. thank you I so much!!!

The Lookout Bar & Grill was a really enjoyable experience overall. We brought our dog and sat out on the patio, which made for a great atmosphere and a very dog-friendly dining experience. The chowder was great, and the sourdough bread bowl was absolutely phenomenal. Our server was exceptionally personable and helped make the night even better. We visited on a Saturday night, and karaoke happened to be going on, which was definitely an experience to say the least. There was a small issue at the end when trying to close out our tab since we had trouble tracking down the server, but it ultimately resolved itself and we were finally able to connect with them. Considering we were dining around 8:30 p.m. on a busy Saturday night, it was still a great experience overall and a place Iβd happily recommend.

I must say this place is a wonderful place with great food. The service was impeccable and the wait times were not bad at all especially with eating with 9 people. This place has my strongest recommendation for all to try. In addition I went there between 12 and 1p.m and it was quite during that time. But the place does have a bar as well. And I must say the view of the boat yard is also a complimentary

Love this place despite me not visiting often enough. Snuck out of work early to meet up with my friend for a drink. We had such a great time First off, Jeannie was great. I hope that's the correct spelling of her name. She took such great care of us and gave us extra beer before we left. The view from the outside area is super nice. We watched a dude paddle boarding the whole time we were there. We started off with an order of fries. It turned out so good that it opened my palate which turned into me getting a sandwich and chowder. Yo that chowder was fire. I ended up taking the sandwich home. We'll be back for karaoke night

Older place that is not ADA compliant. Need to access the restaurant by going up a flight of stairs. No host greeting our group of 4, so we just sat ourselves. Waitress came by and said she would be right with us. However, She seemed more interested in the conversation she was having with another group. Amy walked by and asked if we had been helped. She quickly got us drinks and menus. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, the clam chowder cup, the cheese burger, and the bacon burger. The food was excellent! We enjoyed everything we ordered. Amy, who took our order was great and even made a suggestion for breakfast in the morning. My only complaints are that we sat for awhile before being acknowledged and the place looks a little run down. The view of the harbor is great! If you are looking for a friendly bar, this is a great place to go.
